Honestly, I was a sick man. My weight wasn't the only problem anymore. My blood pressure, the numbers the doctor takes at the clinic, was way too high. My back and knees were always sore, like a constant ache that wouldn't go away. And to top it all off, I kept getting this burning feeling in my stomach, like heartburn all the time.It felt like my body was saying "no" to everything. Life after Gastric Bypass
My journey started on 27th February 2022. I was in recovery for 2 months at this point could drive to the golf course which I really missed. I didn't have enough energy to play then. Soon after 4 months I could walk the whole golf course. In month 5 I started playing.
Everything was so exciting after my 5 months post surgery my energy levels were so high I could run around doing errands easily. This is the best decision I ever made, no,i don't regret it.
Now I can even shop anywhere I want, my clothes fit.Before it was so hard to find clothes that fit. Today I came for my 2 years review just as a routine checkup otherwise I am perfectly fine and happy.
