Then the diseases started creeping in and before you know it you are handling a lot in terms of metabolic derangement. My Nairobi Bariatric experience
I found out about Nairobi Bariatric Center from a mutual friend, she had the surgery before, and she happened to be my client. So I took note of how it was, and she looked good for her age, so I asked her about it and she told me about the center.
Life after Gastric Bypass
Now 2 years later after gastric bypass surgery , what does 70kgs loss feels like? -It feels like a new beginning. 115 kgs versus 45kgs What have I achieved in those two years? -Normal cholesterol levels -Off thyroid medication for hypothyroidism -No longer pre diabetic -No more aching knees -No more sleep dyspnoea -Summiting Mt.Kenya-twice -Summitting Kilimanjaro -Done 16 other amazing hiking feats I am not afraid to dream anymore. Like how I can opennly pen that I’d like to do Everest in the future with my son, maybe K2 as well, travel and see the whole world, be actively present for my kids above all else. Alhamdullilah. Alhamdullilah. Alhamdullilah! Thank you Nairobi Bariatric Center for this, to the next 100 years.
